Help police tackle crime

Community members have an opportunity to share their key safety concerns with police as part of an annual survey.
The survey will seek feedback on where police should focus efforts to prevent crime and how they interact with the community outside emergencies.
Victoria Police said the annual community sentiment survey - now in its third year - opened earlier this month and attracted 1600 responses in its first day.
It is quick, anonymous and for people of all backgrounds who live, work and socialise in Victoria.
"It provides Victorians with an opportunity to be part of our local decision-making processes, targeting the drivers of crime and key community safety concerns," Assistant Commissioner Mike Frewen said. "The more people who take part, the clearer picture we will have."
Open until May 31, around 11,000 people completed last year's survey which aims to ensure Victoria Police remains agile, responsive and visible in addressing local needs.
It showed safety in public places ranked as the top safety concern for a second consecutive year.
Safety of people's property and possessions, road safety and drugs and alcohol also rated strongly in the results.
