Police investigate car thefts

Two vehicles were stolen in Warragul on September 15.
One theft occurred from a shared vehicle storage yard near Anderson St.
Police reported a vehicle was used to force entry through locked temporary fencing between 10pm and 11.50pm.
Once in the yard, police allege four vehicles were broken into. A variety of power tools were reported stolen as well as a black Holden Commodore SS sedan, valued at $30,000.
The second theft occurred outside a residential address in Hallyburton Grove between 6pm and 6.20pm.
Police said it was a case of bad timing as the owner was packing the vehicle and momentarily left the keys inside.
In that short timeframe, the white 2022 Honda CRV wagon valued at $30,000 was stolen.
