Gala is a perfect first time opera
Promac Productions Australia are bringing their Opera Gala to Warragul.

Lovers of opera and opera newbies alike can look forward to all the hits and highlights of opera in a reimagined form, with the arrival of the Opera Gala at the Wesley of Warragul on Sunday August 20.
Presented by Promac Productions Australia, the Opera Gala breaks the traditional opera stereotypes and provides a welcoming experience for people who have never attended the opera before.
The performance will present a mix of classic arias as well as well known tunes from sporting events and advertisements. Australian performers Bradley Daley, Alison Jones, Caroline Vercoe and Chris McKenna will showcase their incredible vocal talents, accompanied by a string quartet of Orchestra Victoria musicians.
Bradley Daley has performed across Australia, Germany and the United Kingdom, impressing audiences with his heldentenor vocals. Mr Daley says that the Opera Gala is the perfect opportunity for people who are new to the opera to give it a try.
"The show is designed for people who haven't given the opera a go before, it's the perfect first show to see if you like it," he said.
"It won't be stuffy or highbrow. People will be presented with songs that they know and the music will be of a very high standard."
Audiences can expect a beautiful performance from a variety of vocal types.
"I'm looking forward to singing with this group." Mr Daley said. "Like a good recipe, when we're mixed together we make a good dish."
Mr Daley said he was excited to bring the Opera Gala into regional communities.
"It will be nice to get out of the cities and bring the music to the regions," Mr Daley said. "It's a chance to see and hear the majesty of the human voice up close."
Tickets for the Opera Gala are $45 for full price, $42 for concession and free for students under 16 accompanying a ticket holder. The show will begin at 3:00pm and conclude at 4:45pm.
