Some veteran Warragul Industrials players took their talents overseas when they competed in the AFL Bali Masters over the King's Birthday weekend.
Split into over 35s, over 45s and over 55s divisions, the tournament saw teams from all over Australia and Asia descend on Bali to test their skills against one another and have some fun while they do it.
Regular senior Dusties Shane Brewster and Luke Walker were among the seven-man group who made the trip, as was club president Shane Ingham.
Playing in the over 35s division, the Dusties were pooled with 17 other teams including the host club Bali Geckos.
Games were played on shortened AFL fields in two 10-minute halves to keep things progressing smoothly, with the Dusties borrowing three local players to complete their team.
The Dusties team won one of their two grading matches on the Friday, putting them into the "Bowl division".
Two big wins on the Sunday saw them crowned champions of the division, putting them at seventh overall in the over 35s.
Luke "Tex" Walker, who recently racked up his 350th senior game, was named the best over 35s player for the tournament, adding a "Bali Brownlow" to his glittering list of accolades.
Ingham was full of praise for the tournament and the trip as a whole, saying that everyone who had made the trip had an incredible experience.
"It was a lot of fun over there, everyone had a great time," Ingham said.
"We weren't sure what to expect going over and when we stepped out onto the ground it was pretty serious but after the games everyone was pretty relaxed."
Ingham also thanked the numerous sponsors the team had for the trip, saying it wouldn't have been possible without them.
The Dusties kept in contact with how the team back home was going, livestreaming the seniors side's win against Garfield during their stay.
They now hope to make the event a yearly one, with Ingham saying they'll certainly be aiming to be back next year.
