Blues' big bash

Catani Football Netball Club is gearing up to celebrate its centenary on Saturday, July 29.
The club is urging all loyal supporters and past players and officials to join them in celebrating this special milestone.
One of the organisers Colin Hobson said the club wanted a big crowd in attendance at its home game against Yarragon, before the day rolls into a night function.
Mr Hobson said the Catani club was formed in 1923 at its current oval.
Catani has played in three leagues during those 100 years - Cranbourne District, West Gippsland and Ellinbank and District, he said.
The club are known as the Blues but, in past years, were the Cats.
Mr Hobson said Catani had claimed 11 senior premierships, four reserves, one thirds and one fifths on the football field during 100 years.
He hopes the club can round up as many people as possible to enjoy the senior football and netball, starting at 12noon.
Memorabilia and photographs will be on display throughout the day, dating back to the 50s. All the premiership cups will take pride of place.
Celebrations will continue into the night, with function formalities beginning at 6.30pm.
