Police are asking Trafalgar residents to be aware of a group of youths targeting cars late at night.
In a trend that continued last week, police said a group of five youths were chased by a victim whose unlocked car parked in Lucas Way was accessed by five youths walking the streets at 2am on Tuesday morning.
A charger cable and bottle of perfume were stolen.
Ten minutes earlier in Davey Drv, police said a resident saw a group of youths surrounding his vehicle attempting to open it. Police when the victim confronted the group, said the youths ran away towards the highway.
Police said there had been several similar incidents the week earlier of youths walking around Trafalgar and trying to break into vehicles parked on nature strips and in driveways.
If anyone recognises the youths or knows who may be involved, they are urged to contact police or Crimsetoppers on 1800 333000.
