Weed control grants in Cardinia

Property owners in Cardinia Shire can get financial help from council to control weeds.
Grants of up to $350 for landholders and $750 for community groups are available to help control noxious and environmental weeds on farm land and areas of high environmental value.
Applications for the funding are open until the end of May or earlier if the money allocated for the program has been exhausted.
The grants are available to help meet the cost of disposing of weeds, hiring equipment or contractors and buying herbicides.
