Transport operation in the works

Police will be increasing their presence in and around public transport during a special operation currently underway in in Baw Baw and Latrobe Valley municipalities.
The operation has previously been undertaken in other areas with positive feedback and is intended to increase passengers' sense of safety in and on public transport.
The operation, a partnership between Baw Baw and Latrobe police units began at the end of January to coincide with the return of students to schools.
