Almost 200 local children were gifted toys for Christmas thanks to the generosity of the local community.
Krista Mountford from Giving Gippsland was blown away by the huge response to her "Toy/Treats Drive" initiative, which saw 190 children presented with gifts in the lead up to Christmas.
Ms Mountford said close to 1500 toys and gifts were donated and given to children up to the age of 18.
The gifts not able to be used were donated to Longwarry Lions Food Relief, who distributed them to help even more local families in need last week.
She said 15 locations, including local childcare centres, businesses, Trafalgar and Drouin community banks and Baw Baw Baw Shire Council, all assisted as drop-off locations.
Ms Mountford sent "a huge thanks to everyone who donated toys and gifts" as well as local businesses and organisations who assisted.
