Timber stolen from house under construction

A man evaded police after allegedly stealing timber from a house under construction in Drouin on Sunday.
Police said a man was observed loading timber into a truck at Karak St, Drouin at about 6pm.
He was described as about 165cm tall, wearing a sandy coloured hat and fluoro top.
Police said the vehicle, with registration plates "12Y 9HA" which may have been cloned, evaded police responding to the incident.
