There were happy faces all round when senior students and staff at St Joseph's Primary School, Trafalgar enjoyed a morning tea together to celebrate Catholic Education Week.
Referring to being waited on a by staff one Grade 6 student remarked "I've waited my whole life for this".
Principal Trish Mulqueen said the morning tea was part of students and staff celebrating their relationships in the community and sharing things that are special with the school and everyone.
She said Catholic Education Week at the school was marked in a number of ways.
Among them was the attendance of leading teachers at a special mass of thanksgiving with colleagues from neighbouring Catholic schools in the Diocese of Sale.
