Suspicious fires under investigation

Police are investigating suspicious fires lit at a Gentle Annie camping area in the early hours on Thursday.
Three small fires were extinguished by fire crews at a Latrobe River camping area after being reported at 3.15am.
Police said a witness reported an early 2000 grey silver hatchback driving around the camping area at about 1.45am.
At about 3.15am, the witness woke to a crackling sound and smoke before contacting emergency services.
Police believe the fires were deliberately lit as they were located in three separate areas.
