Baw Baw Shire Council will host three community sausage sizzles for storm-affected residents this week.
The pop-up sessions will run from 5pm to 7pm at Trafalgar IGA carpark on Tuesday; Yarragon Barbecue Picnic Area on Princes Hwy on Wednesday; and, Neerim South Playground on the corner of Main Neerim Rd and Neerim E Rd on Thursday.
As well as providing a free sausage sizzle, council said these pop-up sessions would be a chance for the community to speak with officers, allowing better understanding of the storm impacts and how council can best assist. Representatives from the Victorian Council of Churches Emergency Ministries will also be in attendance.
Residents are urged to spread word to neighbours, family and friends and anyone who may benefit from coming along.
