Another four public drinking fountains have been installed in Baw Baw Shire.
The new fountains, a partnership between council and Gippsland Water, brings the number in the shire to 21.
The new locations to have the fountains installed are at the Warragul BMX track on the southern side of Western Park in Tarwin St, on the two towns trail at Drouin East off Beverley St, McGregor Park in Trafalgar and the Erica recreation reserve.
Gippsland Water managing director Sarah Cumming said siting of a fountain at Drouin East was the result of suggestions by several community members, adding that such suggestions were always welcome to help prioritise popular spots.
The new installations include attached dog drinking bowls.
Baw Baw mayor Annemarie McCabe also welcomed comment from the public suggesting where they believe drinking fountains were most needed.
She said the partnership with Gippsland Water allowed people to stay hydrated while they were out and about.
Locations of the fountains throughout the shire can be found at www.gippswater.com.au/drinking fountain locations.
