A 74-year-old Longwarry man died in a single vehicle crash in Longwarry on Friday afternoon.
Police said the man was travelling west in a white Toyota Hiace van along Longwarry-Drouin Rd when he lost control at about 1pm.
Police allege the van had overtaken several vehicles before losing control between Corduroy Rd and Sheep Run Drv.
They reported the van veered left onto a grass verge before returning to the road and swerving right. The van then rolled onto the driver's side of the vehicle.
The driver died at the scene. Police said it appeared he was not wearing a seatbelt.
Investigations into the crash continue. Anyone who witnessed the crash, has dashcam footage or information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
