Locals compete in championships
Warragul Little Athletics members Zaria Dalton, Alexandra Aubrey, Fraser Aubrey, Justin Fernando and Luke Rollinson all found success at the recent Little Athletics Victoria State Track and Field Championships.

The Little Athletics Victoria State Track and Field Championships took place over the Labour Day weekend with 29 Warragul athletes taking part.
Competition was strong and conditions were testing due to extreme heat and strong winds.
Athletes competed across 24 events with five top three finishes and 23 top 10 finishes.
Warragul Little Athletics Club sent their congratulations to all athletes who progressed through and competed at this event.
Special mention to the following athletes who placed top 3 in the state for their events.
Zaria Dalton under 14 second in the 100m, Alexandra Aubrey under 16 third in the 1500m walk race, Fraser Aubrey under 15 second in the 1500m walk race, Justin Fernando under 16 second in the triple jump and Luke Rollinson second in the long jump.
Both Zaria and Fraser have progressed through to selection for the under 14 and under 15 Australian Little Athletics Championships that will take place in Adelaide at the end of April.
