Twenty-two children from Little Saints Early Learning Centre visited Drouin Secondary College recently to expand their agricultural learning.
The two-and-a-half-year-olds met with students and teachers from college's agriculture and horticultural program and were able to interact with farm animals and collect eggs.
The Little Saints wore mini high-visibility vests and gumboots for the exciting excursion.
Year 11 agriculture and environment class students helped the toddlers interact with both calves and chickens.
DSC students have the opportunity to participate in agriculture and horticulture classes from years nine to 12. Students are involved in raising calves, managing school cattle, caring for laying hens and growing vegetables in a garden and a greenhouse.
