The honorary appointments are for a period of five years.

The trust is responsible for the management of the cemetery, preservation of local history and planning for its future operation.
Many of the marked graves at Drouin West date back to the 19th century, the oldest burial occurring in 1878 - 145 years ago.
Free training for the roles are on the trust is provided by the department of health.
