Jewellery and cash stolen

A large quantity of jewellery and cash was stolen from a firearms safe in a Longwarry home last week.
The burglary occurred overnight on January 8.
Police said offenders gained entry to the Witton St home through a front loungeroom window. After rummaging through drawers and cupboards, police said the offender found a key to a firearms safe.
A large quantity of jewellery and cash was stolen. No firearms were stolen.
