The Warragul Cemetery Trust will receive a state government grant of $14,000.
Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing said the money would enable the trust to upgrade infrastructure, facilities and equipment and for maintenance and training.
Warragul was one of 48 trusts across the state to receive funding through the Cemetery Grants Program for the current financial year.
Ms Shing said the allocation to Warragul would help ensure the cemetery has modern facilities and continue to be a welcoming place of remembrance for the community.
Applications for the next round of grants close on March 31 athealth.vic.gov.au/cemeteries-and-crematoria/cemetery-grants-program
