Gallery offers Mt Worth art

Looking for somewhere to go on a wet and wintry day? Stop at the Station Gallery on the Princes Highway at Yarragon.
The gallery is managed by Baw Baw Arts Alliance and offers sales of locally created artwork.
The exhibition in the main gallery for the month of June is a vibrant display capturing the creative energies of local artists.
The subject for the exhibition is Mt Worth. Many of the painters created their work "en plein air" and others chose to take photos for their reference. As a result, expect to see Mt Worth interpreted in a wide range of media; in paint, print, fabric, photography, collage.
Vote for your favourite work in the "people's choice award", worth $250 for the winning artist.
A fitting accompaniment to this exhibition is the work of artists Alison Bain and Tamara McKimmie. The duo have collated a range of wonderful print and collage works to be hung "On the Wall" in the gallery.
Alison has stimulated many artists to develop their skills in printmaking and collage through her mixed media workshops. For further information, visit bawbawartsalliance.org.au
