Driver fails to Impreza police

A 23-year Warragul man had his vehicle impounded after allegedly driving 123km/h in a 70km/h zone in Warragul on Thursday.
Police said officers saw a silver Subaru Impreza sedan travelling at excessive speed in Princes Way at about 5am.
The vehicle was impounded at a cost of $1293. Police said the 23-year-old man will be charged on summons.
Meat stolen
Meat and cash valued at $1200 were reported stolen from a Drouin restaurant on Friday morning.
Police said it appeared locks were cut off a back door to gain entry to Luciano's Restaurant and Bar in Princes Way at about 3am.
They said 9kg of lamb mince and 15 steaks valued at $600 was removed from a cool room as well as $600 in cash from a register.
