Camp sets groundwork for high school
Year seven St Paul's students Hazel Ganly (left) and Elizabeth Brereton were saturated but happy after completing the challenge of the mud run at the school camp that set the stage for their transition from primary to secondary school.

Outdoor adventures at a school camp in the South Gippsland hills provided a cornerstone for St Paul's Anglican Grammar School students embarking on secondary education.
The transition program from primary to secondary school for the year seven intake included abseiling, flying fox, raft building and, of course, a mud run.
Held at Camp Rumbug the year sevens were supported by year 11 peer support leaders to navigate challenges and strengthen teamwork skills.
The school said the aim was to lay the foundations for the students' secondary school journey through developing a sense of belonging, wellness and personal development equipping them with resilience and readiness for the years of school ahead.
The time spent with the peer support group and camaraderie created also instilled confidence among the year seven group.
