The anonymous winner, a pensioner, was told he'd won $200,000 in the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot drawn last Tuesday.
He was in complete disbelief and shaking until he was convinced by the caller that it wasn't a joke, The Lotto reported.
Once he settled down, the man said he was "so happy" with the win, stating "you have no idea how much this means to me and how much this is going to help".
"I'm just a pensioner and things have been pretty tough lately, so this is just incredible," he said.
