Two paintings have been donated by renowned Melbourne artist Margaret Dawson to raise funds for community radio station 3BBR.
Ms Dawson, who will have an exhibition of her works at the West Gippsland Arts Centre this year, has donated the framed paintings with a value of $2335.
It is the first major art raffle in support of West Gippsland's 3BBR FM.
The money raised will enable the station in Drouin to buy equipment that enables outside broadcasting.
Ms Dawson has received commissions from the Australian Government, won a number of competitions and had entries in the Archibald Prize.
On trips to Asia, including Nepal and China, she discovered the style of Lingnan painting, using Chinese paint on handmade rice paper.
Tickets in the raffle are $5 each and sales close on Tuesday, February 6.
They can be purchased at a number of local businesses, including The Gazette office in Warragul, the West Gippsland Hospital Opportunity Shop in Drouin, and the Drouin and District Community Bank.
