More than 9000 voters have already cast their votes for Saturday's supplementary election for Narracan.
During the first week of early voting, 9107 early votes were cast, representing 18 per cent of the total enrolment of 50,506 electors. A further 11.3 per cent applied to vote by post.
Early voting centres continue to operate this week at the Drouin Recreation Reserve and 57 Sutton Street, Warragul, while postal vote applications close at 6pm tomorrow.
There will be 26 voting centres open across the electorate on Saturday from 8am to 6pm.
Electoral commissioner Warwick Gately said voting in this supplementary election was compulsory for electors who were on the roll for the 2022 state election.
"If you've got plans for this Saturday, make sure you vote early during the week, or apply for a postal vote by the deadline. There's a convenient option for all voters," he said.
The 11 candidates in ballot paper order are: Michael Abelman (Liberal Democrats), Tony Wolfe (independent), Alyssa Weaver (Greens), Austin Cram (Animal Justice Party), Sophia Camille De Wit (Labour DLP), Casey Murphy (One Nation), Ian Honey (independent), Brendan Clarke (Family First), Leonie Blackwell (Freedom party), Wayne Farnham (Liberal) and Annemarie McCabe (independent).
After claiming government at the November state election, Labor announced last month it would not put up a candidate for the Narracan electorate.
