High School Musical

Drouin Secondary College will present production “High School Musical” this week.

Starring Lachie Crampton as Troy Bolton, Shannon Mellings as Gabriella Montez, Alyssa Fritzlaff as Sharpay Evans and Gabrielle Fawns as Ryan Evans, four shows will be held.

Troy is the star of East High’s basketball team and everyone is counting on him to lead the Wildcats to victory in the championship game.

Gabriella has just moved to East High and is hoping to fly under the radar without everyone knowing she’s a mathematics genius.

When they both audition for the school musical, East High is completely thrown off balance and Sharpay and Ryan will do anything to make sure Troy and Gabriella “Stick to the Status Quo”.

The cast, from year seven to 12, have had many lunchtime and afterschool rehearsals, taking on board “We’re all in this Together” spirt of the characters and the light-hearted fun of the show.
