Vape a likely cause of fire

A vape has been revealed as the likely cause of a grass fire in Bona Vista Rd on Friday, February 24.
A community member saw the small grass fire on an embankment around 4.30pm and attempted to extinguish it, but was unsuccessful.
Emergency services were called and the CFA extinguished the fire. Upon investigation, it was discovered a discarded vape was the likely cause of the fire.
Investigators believe the vape may have exploded and ignited the grass fire.
