Trailer follow ends in Garfield

A man and woman are assisting police with inquiries after being arrested in connection with an allegedly stolen trailer on Sunday.
Police saw a car towing an allegedly stolen trailer on Stud Rd and Bergins Rd in Rowville about 4pm.
It is alleged the car collided with a vehicle, then sped off through a petrol station.
With assistance from police air wing, police members followed the car and trailer through Endeavor Hills, Pakenham and Garfield.
The vehicle came to a stop on Nar Nar Goon-Longwarry Rd. A 37-year-old Cobram woman was arrested at the scene and a 41-year-old Officer man was arrested nearby.
They are both assisting police with investigations.
