A 13-year-old boy was allegedly threatened with a knife while walking in Drouin last week.
The boy was walking along Princes Way at 12.45am on Wednesday when he was confronted by a man riding an e-scooter.
He had left his Drouin home to go for a walk earlier in the evening.
The man allegedly told the boy "Don't scream, don't run or I'll stab you" and brandished a knife from his waistband.
The victim handed over his phone and was told to unlock it for the offender.
Police said once in possession of the unlocked phone, the man rode away.
The boy ran to United Service Station to call for help.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone that has CCTV of a blonde man riding an e-scooter.
