Theft and attempted thefts investigated

Police are investigating a series of thefts and attempted thefts from vehicles in Warragul on Monday, May 22.
An unlocked car in Tamar Ave was targeted at 3.07am, however nothing was stolen.
Prescription glasses were stolen from a car in Hampton Drv between 3am and 3.30am.
Another attempted theft was reported in Denton Drv, in which an unlocked Mazda CX5 was approached by a masked offender.
Police said the offender, dressed in a black balaclava, jeans and runners, tried the door handles of the car before leaving the scene with three other people.
Another vehicle in Tarwin St also was entered by offenders but nothing was stolen.
Police are urging locals to lock their vehicles and never leave valuables inside.
