A solitary goal was all that separated finals aspirants Thorpdale and Foster in round 12 of Mid Gippsland football on Saturday.

Having provided all they could in the first half of the season, Thorpdale are under no illusions they need further improvement to realise dreams starting to build in both players and community.
What stood in their way, however, was an honest and talented team of Tigers with an agenda of their own.
Foster won 10.7-67 to Thorpdale's 9.6-60.
