Two killed at Shady Creek

Two people died after a vehicle collided with a tree in Shady Creek on Saturday.
The 41-year-old female driver, and her male passenger, also aged 41, were travelling east along Old Sale Road at 5:40pm in a Nissan Skyline.
Police said it appeared the driver failed to navigate a left-hand bend before the vehicle crossed to the wrong side of the road and collided with a tree.
The woman and man were from the Willow Grove area.
Police arrived on the scene and performed CPR but were unsuccessful.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
