Pickleball names champions
Showing off their bronze medals are the Spin Masters. They are Myles Lyons-Mills, Glenda Scammell, Mark Scammell and Aaron Remyn.

The finals for Warragul pickleball were held on Thursday night at the Warragul Badminton Stadium.
A strong team of supporters for all four teams came along to watch on the night.
Presentations after the finish were held in the Paul Nielsen clubrooms with many of those supporters staying on to join the celebrations and supper, provided by everyone.
Final result for the gold medal play-off was Smash Squad 8/122 def. Ball Bashers 4/64.
Team members of Smash Squad were Graeme Higgs, Bri Scammell, Jen Kilner and Jeanie Nielsen. The Ball Bashers team was Paul Brealey, Colleen Heatley, John Heatley and Lisa Bloxidge.
Graeme and Bri defeated Paul and Colleen 11/1, 11/3.
Jen and Jeanie lost to John and Lisa 10/11, 7/11.
Graeme and Jen defeated Paul and John 11/0, 11/2.
Bri and Jeanie defeated Colleen and Lisa 11/6 11/1.
Graeme and Jeanie one game all to Paul and Lisa 7/11, 11/2.
Bri and Jen one game all to Colleen and John 10/11, 11/5.
The play-off for bronze was between Spin Masters, consisting of team members Aaron Remyn, Mark Scammell, Myles Lyons-Mills, Glenda Scammell and Get n Pickled, with team members Peter Trembath, Giselle Michau-Hyde, Tracey Trembath and Kylie Henderson.
Spin Masters 8/117 defeated Get n Pickled 4/99.
Aaron and Mark lost to Peter and Giselle 9/11, 3/11.
Myles and Glenda one all to Tracey and Kylie 11/8, 10/11.
Aaron and Myles defeated Peter and Tracey 11/10, 11/10.
Mark and Glenda one all to Giselle and Kylie 7/11, 11/1.
Aaron and Glenda defeated Peter and Kylie 11/7, 11/5.
Mark and Myles defeated Giselle and Tracey 11/6, 11/8.
At the completion of the team presentations, three special fun awards were presented to Judy Rankin, Jim Wilkinson and Mark Scammell as to the team who in the end was the strongest, as they were holding up the ladder.
The next eight-week competition will commence on Thursday 5 February.
Social hitting on Tuesday and Friday will continue for another two weeks and then there will be a break until the middle of January.
