People take up free skin tests at Yarragon

A two-day visit to Yarragon by the Lions Mobile Skin Check and Awareness bus was taken advantage of by about 150 people.
The tests for cancers and other skin problems were conducted by three volunteer dermoscopists with anyone showing irregularities advised to consult medical specialists.
Yarragon Lions Club applied for the bus to visit the town as part of a regular program of visits to locations throughout the state to offer free skin testing.
Business was brisk during the six-and-a-half hours the facility operated on the two days last weekend.
