Meetings to help compile grant applications

Appointments with Baw Baw Shire officers to help groups prepare submissions for community grants are now available.
Expressions of interest for minor capital works grants open on May 1 and pre-application meetings are an opportunity for groups to fully understand the information they need to provide to discuss project ideas and ensure all relevant information is provided.
The community grants are open to not-for-profits organisations in the shire.
Funding of up to $10,000 is available for projects such as equipment installation, fencing, lighting upgrades, electronic scoreboards, painting and much more.
During pre-applications discussions council officers will ask questions and build on ideas that meet the purpose of the grant end give submitters the best chance of success.

After their appointments applicants will be emailed a link to the expressions of interest portal.
