Drouin residents have decorated their letterboxes as a tribute to their much-loved postie who died in a fatal collision last week. Greg Crick, of Yarragon, was working when he died in the collision on Monday afternoon. Tributes have flowed on social media for the 57-year-old postman and motorcycle enthusiast. Residents on his Drouin delivery route last week adorned their letterboxes with flower tributes in honour of a postie that many described simply as “amazing.” Local community social media pages, friends and family members last week mourned Mr Crick’s death. He was described as a friendly and awesome postie by many. “Always smiled and waved. Will be sadly missed.” Mr Crick’s brother Rod Crick posted on social media saying family were shocked and shattered. “When Crickles laughed, the world laughed with him.” “Killed doing his rounds on a postie bike…We are all heartbroken. “He was a guy that will always be remembered for his infectious smile and cheeky laugh,” he wrote. A Go Fund Me page was established by Jo Keeble to raise money for Mr Crick’s partner Liz Westhorp and her daughters. The $1000 target reached almost $6000 within two days.
