Virtue Homes celebrates doublewin at HIA Housing Awards

Gippsland builder Virtue Homes has celebrated outstanding success at the HIA Eastern Victoria Housing Awards, taking home two prestigious awards for excellence in design, craftsmanship and sustainability.
The local building company was awarded Best Custom Home under $750,000 for a stunning Mid-Century Modern home, along with Best Sustainable Home, recognising its commitment to innovative and energy-efficient building practices.
The HIA Eastern Victoria Housing Awards attract entries from across a highly competitive region, stretching from the Mornington Peninsula through to Gippsland.
Virtue Homes general manager Nerida Hamilton said receiving both awards was a proud achievement for the entire team.
"To be recognised amongst such an exceptional field of builders and projects is something our entire team is incredibly proud of," Ms Hamilton said.
"The Best Custom Home award acknowledges the thoughtful design, craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into creating this beautiful home.
"Every custom home is a collaboration between our clients, designers, trades and team, and this recognition reflects the passion and commitment of everyone involved."
Ms Hamilton said winning Best Sustainable Home was particularly rewarding, highlighting the growing importance of environmentally responsible building.
The award recognises the successful integration of energy efficiency, quality materials, passive design and high-performance building principles without compromising on style or liveability.
"At Virtue Homes, we are passionate about creating homes that not only look exceptional but also perform exceptionally well for generations to come," she said.
"These awards highlight our team's ability to deliver innovative, sustainable homes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship."
Virtue Homes is proud to continue delivering beautifully designed, quality-built and environmentally responsible homes for families across Gippsland.
