Six vehicles were broken into at the Warragul Railway Station on Saturday night, with offenders leaving a trail of damage after smashing windows to gain access.
The incidents were reported by a witness who saw six vehicles, all parked in the north-west section of the Alfred St car park, and all with smashed windows.
The vehicles included a Mitsubishi Pajero, a Ford Mondeo, a Toyota Yaris, a Toyota Camry and a Kia Cerato.
A Ford Territory sustained extensive damage with offenders smashing almost all windows, including the back windscreen and damaging the front windscreen. Police said it appeared offenders used a hammer or similar object to smash the windows.
