Civil works are now underway at Springtree Warragul, with the first display homes expected around the end of the year.
Springtree Co-CEOs David Laing and Tom McDonald recently joined the Springtree team and Rowe Constructions for an official sod turning at the Warragul site.
Earlier that day, future homeowners gathered at Warragul Country Club to meet their future neighbours, celebrate the milestone and hear more about the next stages of development.
"Starting civil works is an important moment for Springtree Warragul," David said. "It means our future homeowners will soon be able to see the community they've chosen begin to take shape."
The newly released concept renders show a clubhouse with spaces for fitness, hobbies and social gatherings.
Planned facilities include an indoor heated pool, gym, library, cinema, craft room, and shared kitchen and dining areas.
Outdoor plans include a bowling green, pickleball court and vegetable garden.
Tom said the community would combine low-maintenance homes with facilities close to home and opportunities to connect with neighbours.
"We want people to have the freedom that comes with a low-maintenance home, alongside great facilities and opportunities to connect with their neighbours," he said.
"Whether they want to be involved in community activities or simply enjoy their own space, that choice is theirs."
For future homeowners John and Heather, moving from Melbourne will bring them closer to family in Warragul and Drouin.
"We're looking forward to a country change and spending more time with our grandchildren," they said.
"It'll be lovely to have them over and enjoy the community's facilities together."
Stage 1 homes are selling fast, with the first homeowners expected to move into Springtree Warragul in early 2027.
