Warragul Restaurant celebrates reopening

Eight weeks after fire damage forced its closure, Jade Chinese Cuisine in Warragul has reopened.
Federal Member for Monash Mary Aldred stopped by to congratulate owner Pienna Duan and her team who have done an incredible job to refurbish the restaurant.
"The restaurant had to close and undergo renovations after the firebombing of a suspected illegal tobacco shop next door in June," Ms Aldred said. "The impact on neighbouring small businesses has been incredibly unfair."
Ms Aldred, co-chair of the Coalition's Illegal Tobacco Taskforce, recently addressed the impact of the illicit tobacco trade on her local community and small businesses caught up in the middle in her speech at the National Press Club of Australia.
"Congratulations to Pienna and her team, the restaurant looks terrific," she said. "Over the next few weeks, let's give our support to this family-run, local small business."
