Abbey Gardens resident Wynsome Reed says hello to Cossack.

Residents at Abbey Gardens were treated to a visit from a rather long-faced guest recently as 29-year-old dressage horse Aubaine Cossack did the rounds.
Brought in by Longwarry Paralympian Anne Skinner, Cossack got to meet many of the residents of the aged care facility, helping himself to plenty of pats, hugs and carrots.
Cossack is no stranger to the spotlight, having been a national para dressage champion more than 12 times since 2018.
He's no stranger to Abbey Gardens either and has visited the residents on several occasions, this time enjoying their fancy race hats and finery to tie in with the Melbourne Cup.
Among the many residents there was one that was extra special for Cossack - Wynsome Reed.
Wynsome was initially responsible for uniting Cossack and Anne and remains a part-owner of the horse with Anne.
While Cossack was more than happy to say hello to everyone, it was evident there was a closer bond between the two.
