Two Drouin boys have been interviewed following a suspicious fire at an abandoned farmhouse in Drouin on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to Weebar Rd to reports of a fire at about noon.
Firefighters extinguished the house fire and police reported no injuries.
However, the fire spread to nearby grassland, with more than 20 crews working to extinguish the 20 acre fire, including CFA units from Trafalgar, Neerim South and Bunyip.
Police said two boys, aged 16 and 14-years-old, hade since handed themselves into police.
They have been interviewed and released pending further investigations.
