Families enjoy bonfire

Ellinbank Primary School recently held a community bonfire following a clean-up of the school grounds in preparation for summer, which was supported by the Ellinbank-Darnum CFA.
CFA members used the opportunity to practice their skills with fire management, along with training new members in fire safety and management.
The school said it valued community relationships and it was a great opportunity to invite the community to a school event.
Students helped to find sticks to use for toasting marshmallows which were well used throughout the night.
Families brought their own picnic tea, joined in with games on the oval and spent time developing new friendships around the fire.
