About 900 residents of Cardinia Shire will get a knock on their doors to seek their opinions on what they think of council services.
The doorknocks will be conducted on weekends between 10am and 5pm.
An independent research company is conducting the interviews for the shire's community satisfaction survey and residents' participation will be voluntary.
However, council is encouraging people to take advantage of the opportunity to provide feedback to help improve delivery of services to the community.
Personal details and individual responses will be confidential.
As well as the customer satisfaction survey council welcomes feedback from residents at any time by emailing mail@cardinia.vic.gov.au
