Darnum hosts carols

Lots of music will be offered when Carols by Candlelight is held in Darnum on Friday night.
The carols will be held at St Stephen's Church in Cropley St from 7.30pm.
Attendees will enjoy free entertainment and support, with song books also supplied.
A new Christmas nativity scene display is now up on the church lawn.
The mural features Mary and Joseph, with baby Jesus in a stable. However, the faces of Mary and Joseph have been omitted to enable children to have their photographs taken in the prop.
Carpentry was completed by Robert Hawkins, with art work by local artist Jill Harris.
The scene will remain on display until early January.
