Cook joins committee

Baw Baw Shire's west ward councillor Keith Cook will bring his local fire brigade experience to the Municipal Emergency Management planning committee.
Cr Cook will replace Cr Darren Wallace on the committee.
Cr Wallace told a recent council meeting that clashes of commitments had forced the change, noting Cr Cook "an excellent replacement".
He said Cr Cook was a current fire brigade captain and held an interest in emergency services.
"So I thank Cr Cook, and wish him and the committee all the best into the future," Cr Wallace said.
The Municipal Emergency Management planning committee works to address the impact of emergencies on the community. It is made up of agencies and organisations responsible for the various aspects of emergency management.
