Netball returns

The Warragul and District Netball Association (WDNA) has officially opened its 2026/2027 summer competition, with 114 teams taking to the courts on Monday nights.

The competition brings together more than 1,200 players across five timeslots, creating another exciting season of community netball in Warragul. With teams of all ages and abilities taking part, the summer competition provides an opportunity for players to stay active, develop their skills and enjoy being part of the local netball community.

Alongside the senior and junior competitions, WDNA's NetSetGo program continues to introduce the next generation of netballers to the sport, with 57 young players registered for the current season.

NetSetGo provides children with a fun and welcoming environment to learn the fundamentals of netball, build confidence and develop friendships, helping create a strong foundation for their future involvement in the game.

The Warragul and District program was recently named the NetSetGo Centre of the Year.
