The refreshed Drouin Carols by Candlelight will return to Civic Park on Saturday night.
Co-organiser Annette Martin encouraged community members of all ages to attend the event at Keith Pretty Sound Shell to enjoy the pre-show music from 7pm and main program starting at 7.30pm in a "lovely atmosphere".
Ms Martin said the sound shell was designed and built for an event such as the carols, with its amazing acoustics.
A range of talented locals will perform items and lead carols, with the young guys from "Privateers" setting the vibe in the pre-show.
As always, the Warragul Municipal Band will provide music for many of the carols in the main program.
Other incredible performers will include Billy and the Kid, the McCaffrey family, Lyndon Calway, Cally Pepper, Chairo Christian School staff and student groups, plus several other groups from local churches and schools.
A short Christmas message will be presented during the night.
The Drouin Carols by Candlelight, presented by the Drouin Combined Churches, is a free family-friendly event and a great way to kick start the holiday season.
Roll out your picnic blankets, unfold your camping chairs and bring along a picnic or takeaway food for a wonderful night singing along to favourite classic carols and enjoying special items.
This will be the second carols event organised by Ms Martin and her daughter Tessa Martin, who directs senior school productions at Chairo Christian School.
Aiming to refresh the event while keeping its community vibe, Ms Martin said last year's carols "went really well" with fantastic feedback.
"It's a great committee as well, they do all the work, all the setting up and getting everything ready," she said.
