Warragul Primary School students raised almost $2000 during a Walkathon on Friday, November 14.
With further funds to come, the school reported the successful day had raised $1937 towards purchasing and installing an oven. The oven, to be placed in the kitchen area of the senior campus building, will support student learning.
The day commenced with Rhonda McDonald leading a warm-up dance on the oval. A water-spraying team and icy-poles provided the opportunity for students to cool down during the walkathon.
A number of parents, grandparents, family and friends went along to cheer, participate and help at different stations.
